About the convention

Founded in 2014, Kogaracon brings together anime fans, artists, cosplayers,
and creators from across the Tri-State area. Every event is run entirely by
dedicated volunteers who believe in building a welcoming, family-friendly
community for all fans of anime, manga, gaming, and pop culture.

📅 When & where is Kogaracon?
Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Middlesex College, 2600 Woodbridge Ave, Edison, NJ. Doors open in the morning!
🎫 How do I register?
Purchase your badge at app.gopassage.com. Bring a valid photo ID for pickup. Badges are non-refundable and non-transferable.
🎨 What’s there to do?
Loads! We have:

👗 What’s the dress code?
All private areas must be covered at all times. Shoes required. No rollerblades, hoverboards, or stilts. Capes must be worn with a shirt underneath.
⚔️ Can I bring a prop weapon?
Props must look like replicas and be inspected at the Info Desk (they get a zip-tie tag). Max 6 feet. No real weapons, firearms, airsoft, live steel, or projectiles of any kind.
📸 Autograph rules?
Lines start 10 min before sessions. Have your item ready at the front. No photos of guests while in line. No bootleg items or food gifts for guests.
🚫 Harassment policy?
Zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. Cosplay is not consent. Find a Kogaracon Staff member immediately if you feel unsafe.
😷 COVID & health policy?
Masks highly recommended. Vaccination strongly recommended but not required. Hand sanitizer and masks available throughout. Please stay home if you feel unwell.
🚬 Smoking & alcohol?
Middlesex College is fully smoke- and tobacco-free. No e-cigarettes. Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on campus.
